We have been in business for over 50 years and we specialize in the generator and wastewater pumping application business. We are looking for an Experienced Generator Service Technician to join our growing team.

Job Details
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of generators and transfer switches to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults in generators and transfer switches.
Regularly inspect generators and transfer switches for potential problems and perform preventive maintenance tasks to avoid system failures.
Respond to emergency breakdowns and perform immediate repairs to minimize downtime.
Work closely with the engineering team to recommend modifications and upgrades to improve the efficiency and longevity of the generators.
Maintain accurate service logs, reports, and documentation of all maintenance and repair activities.
Train other team members on the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of generators and transfer switches.
Comply with all safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
Experience with Commerical Generators and Transfer Switches up to 1000kw
Proven experience in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing generators and transfer switches.
Strong knowledge of commercial applications of generators and transfer switches.
Exceptional mechanical and electrical skills.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and repair complex machinery faults.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train others.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate service logs and reports.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergency breakdowns promptly.
Commitment to comply with all safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
A relevant technical certification or diploma would be advantageous.
